eSIM Setup Guide

Follow these simple steps to install and activate your eSIM

iPhone Installation Steps

Open Settings

Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data)

Add eSIM

Tap "Add eSIM" or "Add Cellular Plan"

Scan QR Code

Choose "Use QR Code" and scan the QR code from your UpApp purchase

Confirm Plan

Review the plan details and tap "Add Cellular Plan"

Label Your Plan

Give your eSIM a label like "Travel" or the destination country name

Turn On Data Roaming

Go to Settings > Cellular > Your eSIM > Data Roaming and toggle it ON

Pro Tips

  • Install your eSIM before you travel - it won't activate until you connect to a network at your destination
  • Keep your primary SIM active for calls and SMS, use the eSIM for data
  • Make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection during installation
  • Screenshot your QR code in case you need to reinstall
